This past weekend, I was channeling my artzy fartzy side, and I had a great time! A major part of Tiffany O'Neill Photography is me exploring different forms of presenting my photography, and exploring my art. While I love the commercial work I get, I actually really really love my artistic work that I get.
On Saturday I woke up with an fire in my belly and a desire to find reclaimed wood...for FREE. So I got in my car and got lost in burton, middle field, and many other towns with Amish people and corn. I didn't find any reclaimed wood, but I did enjoy a few hours of driving and exploration. I got back to Chagrin Falls, went to the post office, and BOOM...Reclaimed wood, just sitting waiting for me to take it! I didn't steal it, I found the rightful owner, and she had just replaced her garage doors, and didn't want the wood anymore. So in my car they went...with some help from my dad, because no matter how old you get, you still need your dad's help some times :)
I got home and decided that these were going to be my new art project...tables, art, key hooks...the list was swirling in my head. So I started cutting, sanding, adding chemicals and experimenting with the "rustic vintage" look. It didn't take much because these were already pretty old. I made two pieces this weekend, and I think they are pretty neat.
I added some of my Cleveland images to them, and now they are a useable piece of art. I have listed them on Etsy, yes I have an Esty shop here: TIFFANYONEILLPHOTO
